King of Boys: A Nollywood Blockbuster Evolution

With an impressive 8/10 rating on IMDb, "King of Boys" initially made waves as one of the films that propelled Nollywood onto the international stage, particularly in the Americas, thanks to its availability on Netflix. In 2018, the movie shattered box office records, achieving numbers that even the most acclaimed Nollywood movies could only dream of.

In 2021, the movie directors took "King of Boys" to new heights by transforming its second part into a 7-part series, breaking new ground in Nollywood. Rarely do cast members reprise their roles in sequels years later, but this move proved to be a game-changer. With the addition of renowned Nollywood superstars like Titi Kuti, Keppy Ekpeyong, Nse Ikpe Etim, Richard Mofe-Damijo, and more, the series further solidified Netflix's popularity on the African continent.

A tantalizing photo shared by Adetiba on Instagram, featuring most of the cast gathered in a living room setting, ignited speculation about the new faces that will grace "King of Boys III"
