Known for his outstanding performance in Snowfall, Idris is proving to be one of the most exciting actors of his generation. Watching him go toe-to-toe with Brad Pitt in a high-stakes racing drama is going to be a cinematic treat!

2. Formula 1 is Becoming a Global Phenomenon

Formula 1 has always been huge in Europe and America, but in recent years, its fan base has exploded worldwide—including in Africa! The sport’s popularity has surged thanks to Netflix’s Drive to Survive series, and now, F1 will take that excitement to the big screen. For Nollywood fans who love action-packed drama, this is the perfect way to experience the thrill of Formula 1 racing.

3. Real Locations, Real Excitement!

Unlike other racing movies shot on closed sets, F1 was filmed at actual Grand Prix events in Silverstone, Hungary, Spa, Monza, Zandvoort, Japan, Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi, and Mexico City. This means every race scene is filled with real crowds, real energy, and the genuine intensity of live F1 events.

Director Kosinski revealed the challenges of filming on real tracks, saying,
We had something like nine minutes to shoot on the grid. You can just see the adrenaline going beforehand, and you feel that in the performances.
This level of authenticity is something we rarely see in Hollywood films, making F1 a must-watch!
