In a powerful speech at the inauguration, Minister Festus Keyamo expressed the Nigerian government’s commitment to fostering an environment conducive to growth in the private sector. “This is a huge achievement,” Keyamo said. “The concept alone, getting the backing and bringing it to fruition… is a dream come true. We are working to ensure that similar projects will follow suit, further enhancing the infrastructure at our airports.”The Flight Support and Engineering Hub at NAIA is the first of its kind in Nigeria, and its establishment marks a significant milestone in the country’s aviation industry. According to Keyamo, the government will offer full support to Xejet and similar initiatives, ensuring compliance with global standards, safety regulations, and quality controls to maintain the excellence of the project.
