Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka will be sidelined for several weeks following a hamstring injury sustained during the team’s 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace on December 21st. Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed the news at a press conference on Monday, stating that Saka’s recovery
“isn’t looking promising”
and that he will be out for a number of weeks. The 23-year-old England international was seen leaving Selhurst Park on crutches, adding a somber note to Arsenal’s dominant win.

Saka has been a pivotal player for Arsenal this season, contributing five goals and ten assists in the Premier League. His absence will be keenly felt, but Arteta remains optimistic. Reflecting on previous injuries, such as when Martin Odegaard and several defenders were unavailable, Arteta expressed confidence in the team’s ability to adapt.
"We’re approaching it with a positive mindset,"
