Lilwin Pays $50,000+ for Ramsey Nouah After Van Vicker Withdraws

Ghanaian actor and producer Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin recently revealed a costly shake-up in his latest film, "A Country Called Ghana." During an interview on Lawson FM, Lilwin expressed his disappointment over Van Vicker’s sudden withdrawal from a pivotal role, calling it a significant setback for the production.
His role was crucial, and we had everything planned. But at the last moment, he didn’t show up,” Lilwin shared, recounting the scramble to keep the project on track.
The solution?

Bringing in acclaimed Nigerian actor Ramsey Nouah. However, the decision came with a staggering price tag—over $50,000.
“The amount I paid Ramsey could have covered fees for every top Ghanaian actor,” Lilwin admitted.
Despite the cost, Lilwin praised Nouah’s performance, calling it transformative. With its powerful themes and stellar cast, "A Country Called Ghana" promises to be a cinematic masterpiece audiences won’t forget.
