Nigerian beauty queen Chidimma Adetshina has made history as the first Nigerian to secure the first runner-up position at the prestigious Miss Universe competition. The 23-year-old dazzled the world at the 73rd edition of the pageant, held in San Salvador, El Salvador. Miss Denmark, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, was crowned the winner, while Adetshina delivered Nigeria’s best-ever performance, standing out among over 120 contestants from various countries.
The top five included strong competitors, with Miss Mexico, María Fernanda Beltrán Figueroa, taking third place, followed by finalists from Thailand and Venezuela.
